Terms & Conditions and Returns
At Cheshire Dog & Collar we strive to make your individual shopping experience “without hitch” and “secure”. Our website is purposely designed to ensure this process is as easy and straight forward as possible. Below is a summary of our terms and conditions of sale along with your rights when buying from us.
When placing an order with us you agree to our terms and conditions and will be shown a link to this page when you check out. You will also be required to give your consent to the use of your personal details during check out; this is a legal requirement, and orders cannot be processed without this consent. Please refer to our privacy policy for further information in this regard.
Payment options
We accept payments through SUMUP, you do not need a personal or corporate account for this.
We will allow BACS (bank transfers), please contact us for our bank details, to note goods will not be dispatched until payment has cleared our account, which nowadays is instant. Payment by cheque up to the value of £500 (GBP) is permitted, full payment instructions will be sent to you by email on completion of the checkout process.
Important: We accept orders for delivery in the UK only, currently.
Credit Card Security
We do not personally store your credit/debit card information on our website at any time and all data is securely processed by our merchant SUMUP.
UK Delivery Charges
All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any UK taxes governed by HMRC. Delivery charges are not included in our products published price and will be added on completion of you order.
However, the delivery cost is clearly shown when you view the shopping cart at checkout. We accept orders for delivery in the UK only, currently.
Order Dispatch and Delivery
We endeavour to dispatch orders within 1 to 2 working days upon receipt of cleared payment from Mondays to Fridays, except UK Bank Holidays. If payment is by cheque, goods will not be dispatched until payment has cleared our account.
If for any reason, there is any delay – we will inform you as soon as possible via email.
All items shown on this website are “in stock”, unless otherwise indicated “Out of Stock”, displayed alongside the product description.
Packages are dispatched within the UK, via Royal Mail – Signed For. All orders will require a signature upon delivery.
Order Confirmation
Upon (order) check-out you will receive an e-mail confirming your purchase, together with information regarding payment and delivery. If for any reason you do not receive this e-mail within 12-hours, then please get in touch with us, by emailing: info@cheshiredogandcollar.co.uk
Damaged Goods
Goods damaged, or proved faulty, in transit will be replaced wherever possible, or alternatively a full refund will be made. Please notify us immediately of any such occurrence by emailing: info@cheshiredogandcollar.co.uk
Complaints
We truly hope that you do not have cause for complaint, but should you please let us know in confidence by e-mail: info@cheshiredogandcollar.co.uk giving details of your complaint, and your suggestion of how we can resolve the situation. We will act as quickly as possible to rectify any problem you have with our goods, or services – your happiness is our goal.
Measurements
All measurements given on this website are approximate, although we do try to describe our products as accurately as we can.
Our Right to Cancel
Although extremely rare, Cheshire Dog & Collar reserve the right to cancel any order within 48 hours of placement; notification will be given by e-mail as soon as possible and a full refund (including postage) will be issued, and any personal information deleted.
Returns
We want you to enjoy our service, every time you purchase products via our site, we want to make sure you have an experience that will make you want to return time and time again. If you have a problem with your order, or have simply just changed your mind (within 14-days of delivery), you can return the goods by emailing info@cheshiredogandcollar.co.uk quoting your order number, delivery address and reason for return; we will then issue you a returns slip, with returns address, by email.
Once the item(s) has been returned to us, we will issue a full refund excluding original, or returns, postage charges.
Please ensure the returning item(s) is appropriately packaged (the original, undamaged packaging is best), along with a copy of the original delivery note – please also let us know why you are returning the item.
As a gold standard, we would advise that you use Royal Mail – Signed For, or as a minimum obtain a proof of postage for your own protection.
Faulty, defective, or wrongly delivered goods, will be fully refunded. This is only if the fault is not due to misuse, use against the manufacturer’s recommendations, or reasonable wear and tear.
Website Pictures and Product Descriptions
All pictures and product descriptions displayed via www.cheshiredogandcollar.co.uk are the sole property of Cheshire Dog & Collar and may not be used, or copied, without written permission from us. We have the right to change, alter or remove any details, or items, as is necessary, or we feel is appropriate.
All our products displayed and sold are copyright protected under UK Law.
